I know they wanted to maintain continuity with the rest of the series, but the Black Mesa team should have done more than just use the same models, animations and sounds as Episode 2 for the Vortigaunts. The latter in particular, as most of the non-English noises are variants on a few themes, the most prevalent of which is here.
